1997 BMW M3 Sedan Cosmo/Magma - MD

For sale is a 1997 BMW M3. I have owned the car for about a year and its been a joy to own. This is a nice driver quality example in an uncommon color combo. The car has a bunch of tasteful modifications. I will list further details below in a more organized format. PLEASE read everything, and look at all of Google Drive link photos/YouTube videos. I will post these links at the end. I am located in Elkton, MD. Price $9,900 or best reasonable offer. BMW trades considered but prefer cash as I am looking to thin the fleet.

- Cosmosschwarz Metallic exterior/Magma interior
- *UPDATE* Approx. 247,000 miles (cluster shows 153k, it was changed 26k miles ago at 221k which is documented on Carfax)

Modifications include:
- Dinan Intake
- Dinan Strut bar
- Dinan Big Bore Throttle Body
- Dinan Exhaust
- Dinan Spherical rear trailing arm bushings
- M50 Manifold- Kassel Performance tune
- Bilstein/Eibach suspension
- Eibach Front/Rear sway bars
- X-brace
- Mishimoto cooling system
- Retrofitted tilt steering column
- E39 M5 style rear lip spoiler

Exterior:
- The exterior and paint is in overall good shape, it was repainted about 5 years ago. Shows well but some smaller imperfections including a few rock chips, some cracking on the hood and a few small dings. It is a 25 year old car.
- Tinted windows
- Staggered factory contour wheels in fair shape. No major curb cash/bends/etc. Tires have plenty of life
- No major rust/rot that would be concerning. There is very minor surface rust beginning at the bottom of the driver door and a few rock chips that have surface rust which are pictured.
- Clear corners/side markers
-E39 M5 style rear spoiler

Interior:
- The magma LUX interior is in good shape for the age with no major imperfections. There is some typical wear on the seats/door cards but nothing out of the ordinary.
- All windows/sunroof/seat functions work
- Radio works and is hooked up for a subwoofer if you desire
- Heat/AC work
- Radar detector installed
- Headliner is sagging in the rear

Drivetrain:-
The car idles, runs and drives great. It pulls much harder with the modifications than my previous stock M3.
- Transmission has a tune
- The suspension bushings could use updated. The car is not as tight as it could be but still feels planted.
- CEL light is on. Past owner said it came on after installing the throttle body/tune, etc. It has been on since before I purchased the car and has never caused a drivability issue.
- Valve cover beginning to sweat
- CCV system replaced less than 100 miles ago
- Oil Change 100 miles ago

The car is overall very solid and I feel a good value. Considering the modifications, this would make a perfect manual swap car or enjoy as is. I had this listed previously but misspoke about the mileage due to cluster change. It it now fixed and the price has been adjusted accordingly. Price $9,900.

bump - price drop to $8200 FIRM. When getting more photos for a protentional buyer, I noticed the rear shock tower is going to need addressed at some point. I have photos of this I can send. It's a somewhat common issue and fairly cheap to have fixed at a shop, sub $500 or so.
