E92 window problem

Just picked up a 2007 328 e92 and I am running into a strange issue, the windows will not drop down when opening the door to clear the top trim, however the auto up down is working properly.

I’ve cleared and reinitialized the windows several times and every time same thing. Both sides are doing the same thing. I have no experience with ncsexpert but maybe the po messed with some settings? Any ideas what or anybody had a similar problem?

I just picked up a 2007 328 E92 (coupe) and the windows aren’t dropping when you open the door. The auto up/down is working and to verify I cleared the memory on both and reinitialized and still no window dropping on either side. I have no experience with ncsexpert but maybe someone changed some settings previously? Anybody have any ideas or a similar issue?

For the coupes and verts, there should be a micro-switch that tells the car when the door is open. Do the interior lights come on when the door is opened? This is a clue that the switch is working properly.
