Help with conv top motor wiring….

Had to remove the motor to replace the antenna assembly, (someone was nice enough to snap off my antenna breaking the assembly) but didn’t notice where these two wires were attached to and cannot find any reference for where they were bolted to.
here’s a pic of the wires in question.

Those are the grounds for the open and close relays.

I suspected they were grounds, thanks for confirming that. Any idea WHERE they were bolted to?

If you don’t see a obvious post nearby then I assume the motor mounts. I’ll look at mine and see if I can tell. Just looked and yes it’s the lower motor mount bolt. Moral of the story…take lots of pics before starting a project lol. I sucks some jackass f’d with your car.

Thanks for checking yours for me, I suspected that was the place they were bolted to as I didn’t see them till I pulled the unit from the mounts... Yeah, it really does suck when people do pointless stuff like that. My first convertible was an MG I bought in 1974 in my teens. I’ll never forget coming out of the movie theatre with my girlfriend to find my convertible top slashed to ribbons. Not sure.
