I have a set of SSR III 18x8 wheels which I am refinishing. I removed the valve stems and searched SSR valve stems but I can’t find the same ones as were on the wheels. I’m not sure which model wheel this is. Also, the valve stem OA length is about 39mm.
Can I use a generic metal valve stem?
Thanks.

They look like SSR GT2.
Thank you. SSR doesn’t show my valve stem on their website so I emailed them to see if any of the newer ones will work.Originally Posted by The sage;[URL="tel:30811700"
The GT2 doesn’t show up in any of the descriptions for the current valve stems.

To be honest, it also looked like SSR GT2
Measure the valve stem hole diameter. You may able to get a set thru Black Forest Industries (that's what I did for my 3 piece ACS / OZ Type 1 wheels).
interestingly, I bought a set of metal valve stems off Amazon.Originally Posted by R.Thomas;[URL="tel:30813315"
The valve stems on the wheels had 5 parts - stem, bottom rubber washer (inside the rim), rubber washer on the outside, metal washer, elongated nut. I kept the outer metal washer and bought new outer rubber washers (measured and bought off Amazon). Have to use the elongated nut for clearance. So instead of $90 from SSR I spent about $16.
Excellent! Glad it worked out.
