Remove side rear windows without removing window motor/regulator

    Hi all,

I've got an E36 convertible, with rear side windows, where the fwd seals that have seen better days. Considering that the seals are hard to come by and are expensive on their own, it seems that the best way fwd is to replace the glass/seal combo with a second-hand unit.

Is it possible to remove the glass (with the seal) without having to remove the entire regulator/motor? The glass looks like it screws in place, but are the screws accessible with the rear internal side panels off?

    Thanks in advance.

Nope. Remove as a unit, then glass from regulator
