Power Train issues

Hey guys I’m here once again lol BMW life. I was driving home one day and the car went nutz. It shutoff while driving went into N and the on board messages were Drivetrain Malfunction & Starter/Ignition with a check engine light. I towed home on dolly’s. I changed the starter myself. The new starter does one click very loud. And there is a hum sound both from engine bay. I ran the codes with My code reader before and after the starter being changed. Those codes looked nuts so I went to autozone and I have these Power train system codes as following:

P169F: Throttle Valve Limo home mode Active (Bank 1)
P110D: Throttle Position Sensor A and B Circuit Range/performance (Bank 1)
P0123: Throttle/pedal position sensor A circuit High Input
P0222: Throttle/pedal position sensor B circuit low input
P:0238 Turbo/Super Charger Boost sensor A circuit High
P0108: Manifold absolute pressure/Baro sensor high input
P007D: Charge Air cooler temperature sensor Circuit high Bank 1
U019F: Lost communication with engine coolant pump control module.

Anyone have any ideas before I take it to a speciality shop 😭

See if you can turn the motor over by hand with the transmission in neutral.

I for one don't really trust "P" codes, for they tend to be a bit misleading.

The other thing is you can get a lot of codes, but they are not the primary issue, so clear all codes and see which one comes back.

If your battery needs replacing, you can also get lots of unrelated codes and warning messages.

The P codes are the most recent codes I cleared with Veapeek obdII. Transmission is in P will not move with the Tectronic lever (stuck in park) I can upload the reads with dates. However the battery has had a couple discharged messages since car has been not started. However the battery is pretty new got it at around 65k itÂ’s 900cca Die hard battery AGM from an auto store. 12v. How would I turn the N55 motor over by hand ? ItÂ’s a 15 435i gran coupe. There was a lil smoke and a rubbery burning smell when the car shut itself off.

Would this be the key Fob battery causing these issues or the main battery in the trunk. Car is fairly new. I only have 79k. Don’t know previous maintenance but have preformed an oil change I also need to change my oil level sensor.

The point was that P codes are vague when compared to BMW manufacturer codes, which you should be reading instead.

This is not a car that you can service with AutoZone. If all you have is a phone, then get Bimmerlink to read codes.
You can also do some functions through it. For example, when the battery was changed, it should have been registered as exchanged.

For what it's worth, the battery can be new, and the alternator not working and cause the same. Or is your accessory belt even present to spin it (smelling rubbery?)...

It may have to go to a shop.

You can turn the motor over at the crank bolt, normally 27mm or so.

As for getting it out of Park:

Electronically releasing the parking lock Switch the ignition on. Apply the brake pedal and hold it down during the entire procedure. Press start/stop button. As soon as the starter can be heard to operate (this may take several seconds on diesel engines or at low temperatures).

Press and hold down the release button (1)

The specified time must necessarily be complied with! Push selector lever (2) forward up to point of resistance and hold for 2 seconds. Release the selector lever and quickly move it forward by another level again.

The selector lever position N is displayed in the instrument cluster. The parking lock is now electronically unlocked. Release the brake pedal after the parking lock has been successfully unlocked. Leave the ignition switched on in order to subsequently move the vehicle. The transmission automatically shifts into P when the ignition is turned off.

Important! The parking lock is reactivated without a message when the start/stop button is pressed again. If the gearbox cannot be released, turn the ignition off and on again and repeat the previous steps. Allow the starter to cool down for approx. 10 minutes after unsuccessful attempts.
