I have changed out both the electric water pump and the T-stat and when running the purge procedure I heard the pump running but no circulation at the coolant tank. Tried several times and to no avail. I tried replacing the original t_stat back in but it didn`t work either so I went back to complete original and now the pump doesn`t turn on at all. I was thinking that I maybe had blow a fuase for the pump but I can`t find reference for it at all. It is hard to find any info on this.
Does any one know? Thanks

None of these show the water pump and another picture of the fuses shows a different layout. Very confusing as it seems BMW doesn’t want you to know much. Left all of this out of the manual.

The owner's manual contains information on operating the vehicle, not repairing it. They aren't trying to hide anything
The water pump on that model is supplied by F01 and F08 at the IVM. However, since you said the replacement pump was running, it is not likely to be an issue with the fuses. I don't know how much coolant circulation you were expecting to see, but if the pump ran, it probably bled the system. It is not a very complicated cooling circuit and the expansion tank doesn't see a lot of direct flow. The main thing is just to ensure that the expansion tank has the correct volume of coolant. If it has electric water pump issues it will present an error code in INPA
