Powerflex Rear Subframe bushings....Street or Race? Anyone had both?

Well, the time has come that I need to replace the rear subframe bushings on my '02 540iT. Definitely gonna go with Powerflex poly bushings, but am torn between running the street (yellow) version, or the race (black) ones. I know RVAE34 before loved the race version in his old LS-swapped E39 Touring project with the Fortune 500 coilovers, but i'm a little hesitant. That hesitation comes from the fact that these days, the wifey mostly drives our 540iT to ferry the kids to and from school, etc. so I am a little concerned about the added NVH with the race version. If I was driving it primarily, i'd likely go with the race version regardless...

So, has anyone out there had experience with both the street and race versions of the rear subframe bushings on the Touring and can compare the 2? How much more solid are the race ones, and is the NVH significantly increased over the street version? I'm actually currently installing some street rear subframe bushing in a customer's '00 540iT in my shop now (which is what got me thinking about starting this thread), so i'll get to see how they drive once i'm done with the car. Just looking for people's experience with the race version in comparison...

    Thanks in advance!

I’d like to hear your results on the bushings.

Well, once I decide which one to get, i'll definitely update. I can tell you that the street bushings I installed on my customer's car were a night and day difference from the torn rubber that came out of there. and they are definitely 100% streetable with a barely noticeable increase in NVH. But I need to know how the "race" versions compare. Anyone currently have the "race" Powerflex bushings in their rear subframe and can share their experience with them?
