    Rear spring dimensions?

Does anyone have dimensions for any E23 rear springs, stock or aftermarket designed to fit stock hardware? Any of the following would be helpful: free length to within 5mm, coil outer diameter to within 2mm, wire diameter to within 0.1mm, coil count to within a quarter coil.

I ain't going to be much help except to ask for more info for the knowledge base here.
When I was shopping lowering springs, it made a ton of difference whether your 7 is an early or facelift ride. I forget the dividing year, but post up, our peeps here ought to know..

I did a lot of research and couldn’t find a definitive answer by year —you have to measure. My ‘83 733i had 174mm front/114 rears. Realoem part numbers were the same for all as I recall. If you are looking for H&R springs in the US try these folks. Shipping was 100 euros. https://www.fahrwerk-24.de/H-R-Sport...mm_39#filtered

I posted multiple threads with detailed info about all the various oem and aftermarket options for springs, was probably over ten years ago but you should be able to find it if you search. IIRC according to etk there was like 3 possible mm ID for front springs and 2 possible mm ID for rears. I have gone through multiple oem and aftermarket spring sets back in the day and all of them were the same ID measurements. I can't recall off the top of my head what they were though.
