    Dreaded regulators

So as we all know the e36 has poopy windows that give out kinda often. In my case I replaced the window regulator on my passenger side and it worked okay. I noticed it would slide up at slight tilt( the side torwards the back of the car would go up first) but then close straight once it got to the top. And now its finally derailing. There seems to be sole play in the regulator even though i iust replaced it. Play being the window side torwards the fromt of the car can literally just be pulled down out of the track. Not sure if the track is out of place or i need a new regulator, or i mounted the regulator ‘wrong’

The bottom arm on the regulator has a slotted bolt hole, allows you to tension the window one way or the other.

On my car the drivers door needed more adjusting range so I has to elongate the slot, I made a post on this years back.
