So I've been going through all of the gremlins in my '12 328i and I can't for the life of me figure out why neither of my rear windows will roll down. I've checked all the fuses (22, 83, 84) and tried all of the switches (driver, both rear switches) no dice. What other diagnostics or fixes can I try? I tried searching the forums but couldn't find anything addressing it.
There should be a switch on the Driver’s door that disables the power windows. It’s intended to keep passengers from operating the windows. Maybe it’s turned off, so the window switches don’t work?

Considering this and the tail light problem, I would run a BMW diagnostic scan on the Rear Electronics Module first.

Sorry for the late reply, ordered an obdc reader and Bimmer code and had to wait for them. Looks like there's an error in the rear electronic module. Since I just bought it I don't have a backup for the stock configuration, is there a way to get one and load it?

It can be recoded to default settings using a Windows laptop, ENET cable, and esys.
