Recovering a DME after failed programming

Please forgive me if this is in the wrong section.
    First time posting here.

Looking for help, willing to pay for a reward for fixing my problem.

While trying to update a DME using ISTA-P and ICOM NEXT on a customers vehicle the programing has failed and the DME is reporting "Programming status 12"
I'm in over my head at this point. Will be towing the vehicle to the local dealer on Monday if I can not solve the problem this weekend.

    Vehicle is a E83 2007 X3 3.0si

Things I have done so far.
    • Tried using ISTA-P to re-program the module again twice. Same problem every time.
    • I have tried to follow videos and tutorials on using winKFP but I have no clue what i'm actually doing.

I do have a proper power supply (MAC TOOLS 60A programming supply)

    Please help
