Time for a super dumb question: I have a 2016 M5 Comp I may be looking to sell. Thoughts on places to list (this forum, eBay, CarGurus.......)?
Bring A Trailer generally gets the most eyeballs, and tends to bring higher prices for quality cars. They take more commission than others do. And you need to actively engage the lookers and bidders questions to keep interest going.

Cars and Bids is another site that gets lots of views, and commissions are a little lower.

If the car is in excellent condition and has lower mileage, you may want to contact Enthusiast Auto Group (EAG) and see if they’re interested in buying it, or maybe selling it on consignment, if they do that.

They generally sell only top quality cars, and thoroughly recondition them before they sell them, thus they can ask higher prices.

Carsandbids is a good new marketplace. If you're around Chicago, think about autotrader. Cheap ad, good exposure

Thank you.... oddly bringatrailer said no when I submitted.
2016 M5 might not be interesting enough for BAT. It’s more an autotrader type car. There are a bunch of autotrader type markets now, some good ones like cargurus and some trying to gain market share. Anyone searching checks the leading ones so I would just go with one of the big names.
Correct me if I'm mistaken( I tried a few on-line ads) but Auto Trader presumes to rate prices too. I listed a car for the estate of a friend and listed it at an attractive price which when listing suggested it was a very good price. When the ad appeared it was then "rated" as only a "fair" price. I raised hell and got my $$ back when cancelling the ad but they and their ilk are a waste of time.
Wound up selling through Craigslist
BAT doesn't want "used cars".
A friend had good results with cars and bids.
Given the current situation a BMW dealer may want it. Of course reasonable price expectations will help it sell.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
For the type of car -- I'd go on eBay for more general exposure.
