Lightbulb N62 Engine - aftermarket eccentric shaft sensor

    Hi All,

    Need some advice.

I was changing the valvecover gasket on my 2004 645 Ci (N62 engine) and the eccentric camshaft sensor broke. It appears it was already broken and was glued on by the previous owner.

The sensor (part number 11377527017) is not cheap and retails for about $500 AUD as everything in Australia is expensive! I found an after market on ebay here:

Has anyone used this aftermarket sensor and what was your experience? I am reluctant to use high temp epoxy and glue the old sensor together. Your thoughts?

    Cheers
