Hello, all last month I replaced my valve cover and when I put everything back the car had a drive train error and the engine was shaking quite a bit with a rough start. I decided to take everything out again and do it all over as I ordered a new vacuum pump as well. I carefully put everything back together when I went to go start the car it wouldn't turn over it seems like the problem keeps getting worst I recently hit 100k. Before I replaced the valve cover the car was running fine with a small oil leak from the rear of the valve cover gasket. Please if there is any advice to get my car running again I would appreciate it.
I'm assuming you mean "wouldn't start" when you say "wouldn't turn over". When someone says "not turn over" I think literally the engine won't spin - starter not running, engine seized, etc.
My first thought would be 1 or more coil packs not pushed in all the way or some other sensor / vac hose got missed.
Just did a valvecover on my F30 today too. I've got 180K miles on mine.
