LS1 in 2006 330i ??

I'm looking for info and advice on swapping an ls motor and transmission into my 2006 330i

Here's is what I know so far

cxracing makes a kit but for off road. all stainless and can be had with or without headers, oil pan, etc.

I believe that Holley makes something to control fuel and spark

I've done many engine swaps and rebuilds in the far past, so I may be able to handle most of the work, plus I have a well equiped machine shop.

Gray area is this can buss stuff. Can anyone enlighten me about this and whatever else I may not be ready for?

I am pretty sure there is stuff out there to make this basically a plug and play swap including canbus functionality. There is even a website dedicated to these swaps... I'd start there. LSE90.com
