2019 X3 Wheel Question

Sorry, but new to the site and had a couple of questions. 1. I have a X3 xdrive 2019 that has 19's on them and was wondering if I can put the 21inch staggered wheels from a M40i model on the vehicle without any issues? Second question is if so, can I put all season tires on them that are the same size?

Probably stupid question.

Yes to both questions. What you can't do is put on wheels from the earlier F25 and E83 chassis. BMW changed the bolt pattern and other specs when they moved to the various G-series chassis.

By “same size” do you mean 1) all four tires are the same size or 2) using all season tires of the same size originally mounted on the 21” staggered wheels?

If you put the same (equal) size tires on your staggered wheels, your X drive will not be happy.

Don't get involved in the aggravation. My 2019 X3 came with OEM 701M 21" staggered wheels. Never realized the OE tires that came with them were summer performance runflats. When I tried to find all seasons to replace the runflats, discovered no manufacturer makes both required sizes, 245/40 front and 275/35 rear. Stay with 19s or do what I had to do and go with 20s. So yes, you can use the wheels (from a current G series) but no, you can.t put all seasons on them.
