2018 BMW x3 30i G01 tire recommendation and tire sensor questions.

Hi all,

It reaches a point that I would like to swap out the OEM tires (Pirelli Cinturado P7) into something else, and I mostly drive the x3 on city commute with occasional long highway trips ranging from 500 - 1000 miles.

I saw the following options from America's Tires website:

1. Michelin PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4 245/50 R19 105Y XL BSW
2. Continental EXTREME CONTACT DWS 06 245/50 R19 105Y XL BSW
3. Contniental EXTREME CONTACT DWS06 PLUS 245/50 R19 105Y XL
4. Bridgestone POTENZA RE980 A/S PLUS 245/50 R19 105W XL BSW

Do you have experience in any of the above tires on X3 or similar vehicles?
BTW, on a recent trip to the dealership, the service representative warned me that the car tire sensor may not work with non OEM tires.
Is this true?

The device rep is full of crap.

I’m partial to Michelin tires.
