E30 Trailer Hitch install - Please Help!

I am new to this forum - well, I've been lurking in the background and learning a lot. I have a 1991 318i Convertible. I picked up a hitch at an E30 garage sale. I can't figure out how it installs. I pulled off the rear bumper and removed the bumper mounts/pistons. The hitch slides right into the body were the bumper mounts were and I know I have to do some drilling to get the bolts that anchor it in. What I can't figure out is what to do with all the parts. The problem is I can't figure out how to upload an image so maybe someone can tell me what to do with it. At the bottom of this page under "permissions" it says, "You may not post attachments. Is this because I'm a noob?

You do not yet have enough posts to upload pics, upload the images on a free pic upload service and post the links here.
Here are some EBA's trailer hitch E30, but for built year up to 09/1987, maybe it helps , download here http://www.ow.no/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=34

Ok, let's try this, here is a link to a pic https://ibb.co/gDbbyVY "A" and "B" bolt to the hitch bar and slide into the hole where the bumper mount was. I know I have to drill some holes to thread into the holes in "A". I don't know what to do with "C". It has bolts welded to it on the other side of the holes that correspond to the ones in "B" but I can't figure out where "C" goes.

I think the hitch I have is made by Westfalia. Does anyone know where I can get installation instructions?

I can't really tell what you have there, but if the holes in C match the holes in B, C might be a stiffener plate. If so, the cross section would be B, body panel, C-all held together with bolts through the 2 holes in B and C.

Here's a pic of a 1 piece draw-tite hitch I took off a 91 vert, maybe it will be helpful for you. The long cross piece went up between the rear valence and the spare tire well, the short cross piece bolted to the bumper.
