So I have a 2002 325i and it has the ews 3 in it. I've lost my keys and don't have the money to buy new ones at the moment. I've already gotten the whole ignitiont tumbler out of the steering column and I can touch some wires together to get the car to turn over but it won't start. Please if anyone knows how to bypass the ews system please let me know. Thanks in advance

The entire point of EWS is to NOT allow the car to start in the exact situation you described. Buying a new key is the cheapest way to get it running. Dealer or online supplier will need copy of registration/title with your name on it.

Second hand EWS pack from eBay, must have all locks and DME. Try to get one with two keys if poss.
