Hello all!

Does anyone know how the window switches are wired? I was curious if the switch that puts down all 4 windows together is a master switch that controls the others in series, of if they are independent from one another and parallel.

While driving with the top down and windows down, I put all the windows up and then when I tried to put the windows down again the 2 front windows wouldn't move, only the rear. Even when opening/closing the door, they don't drop/go up anymore and it hits the top.

Any info on these window set ups would be great!

I figured it out in case anyone is looking for this in the future, they are all independent!
The multi-window switch is not a master.

Yes not a master. Your malfunction is not a function of a cmaster-slave setup.

Front window relays are inside the ZKE4 and the rear two in the module that is simply called RM (Relay Module). Any E36 with rear electric windows has that module (sans coupe rear hinged windows).
