Hello...new member here...need advice about buying a 6 series...

Hi folks...I hope I am in the right place...LOL Not sure because I am a complete nubee and know zero about BMWs...
I am buying one from my brother...we are both car guys...mostly classic cars, Corvettes and hot rods over the years...
He has many cars and is selling off a few and I happen to be in the market for a good used second car...
I have come here hoping that you all could fill me in on exactly what this car is and tell me a little about this model...
I will say that my brother takes very good care of his fleet of cars and I am completely confidant that it is in pretty good condition...
He bought it when he and I were at Mecum in Kissimmee in 2017 and since has only put 4000 or 5000 miles on it because he drives different cars and rotates...
I know that when he bought it there were a few issues with it that he had to repair immediately...one being an oil leak...and there were some error codes...
It still throws a couple codes and he is sending the computer somewhere to be "refurbished? rebuilt"...maybe you guys know about that too?
Also, the wheels are from a later year because it had some aftermarket wheels on it when he bought it and he bought these from somebody as take offs when they put aftermarket wheels on theirs...
I am curious about the entertainment system also...I am an XM Sirius listener...will it be XM capable...? What about Bluetooth and or USB...?
And what's up with the DVD...? Surely it will not play movies LOL I don't even see a screen... Thanx for any help and advice etc...!!!
