Replaced cyl 1 injector due to faults, now cyl 2 is throwing faults ('08 335i)

The check engine light even came on and the car sputtered and hesitated when pushed hard. the car has 104k miles.

I recently replaced the fuel injector on cylinder 1; and I did program the new calibration values into the car. I did this in response to fault code 29CD (misfire, cylinder 1)

previous to that, I already replaced all 6 plugs with all new original BMW plugs.

A month later, the car is throwing the fault 29CE (Misfiring, cylinder 2)

my question is, are the injectors just going to fail one by one, or is this a symptom of something larger?

    Looking for recommendations

Maybe just dirty. Also, until you find your problem, don't push it hard, and you won't misfire.
