Wonderful, enjoy the ride. Roger
Great news! Thats gotta be a good feeling. Will you have it buttoned up for some drives this season? I reckon its always driving season in scottsdale...

Great news, Bert. It’s been an extended journey, with lots of twists and turns (feeble puns intended). Have you considered a shake-down cruise to and special guest appearance at Southeast Sharkfest next week? That would be appropriate.
NICE!!
Congratulations! You're in the final sprint after many years of small steps and it's obvious that you've missed no detail. That car is better off now than when it left the production line! How's it feel?
Save the manuals!

Top job man! Looks really sharp!
Is that that how loud an original exhaust system sounds or is it modded?
I kind of like when everything is almost dead quiet so I can enjoy listening to my audio system. It’s also nice that it’s possible to keep a conversation on the freeway without having to scream.
It's a full 2" Billy Boat Tri Flow system. And yes, it is much louder than a stock system. As I put miles on it, I will see if there is any reason to dumb it down, but for now I am enjoying it.

Congrats Bert. Looks and sounds fantastic.
Uh, you realize the hood and front clip are missing, right? I mean, people get forgetful as they age....

Bert,
Nice and proper resto.
Great color.
If the exhaust system/tips are not at least aligned with the rear bumper
it will smell exhaust fumes in the cabin. I hope you have Cat. Do you have
hot cam or its the camera ?
It must feel great driving it around and enjoying it.
Regards,
Anri

A 284 cam. As to the exhaust tips, the car is a Euro and the pipes exit as original, at an angle as shown. The only things not stock are the things that can't be seen. The cam which idles nice and lumpy, brings it alive at about 2200 and pulls like a freight train. I will find out what I have as soon as I get some miles on it and do a dyno pull. Luckily there is one 2 miles from my house.
