    FS-E36 Race Car

    I am about to retire in the next year so my race car has to go. This is an all steel car with hand made front and rear fenders, custom fiberglass nose integrated into the front fenders. The mold for the front end goes with the car. Aerodynamics was a big focus. The kidney grills are just painted on limiting the air to the lower duct is set on the radiator. The front brakes are ducted and the intakes are in the former headlight holes. Much better than down low above the splitter. Don't have to disconnect to remove the front end, and no more clag getting the the ducts. Full cage with all rear suspension mounts tied in to the cage. Front end/splitter comes off with 4 Dzus fasteners so simple for loading on a trailer. The rear spoiler is attached with 4 easily removed pins so putting a cover on is easy, and if you have ever hit your head on the carbon fiber end plates you will really appreciate this. Motor was just rebuilt and has only been warmed up and leak checked. Has 12.5/1 pistons but using a Cometic head gasket to lower by about .5. I am currently running it on Sunoco 105 race fuel. At just under 2500 lbs, the monster contact patch and the aero on the car it is tremendous fun and very forgiving. The light weight means tires and brakes last longer keeping expendables down. The car is very well balanced but may show a little oversteer at times. Majority of the suspension is less than 3 weekends. The car is painted with an acrylic enamel so easy to repair scratches. I could go on and on. The deal is the race car, the trailer, front end fiberglass mold and a set of unused rains for $34,000. I have a clear Texas title for the car and trailer.
