Hi guys, bought a 2010 E87 few months ago, and it seems that it's nav screen was changed at some point, so the Navigation functionality was greyed out, but also is AUX.
A person re-coded the CIC unit to my chassis number and activated the Navigation option, loaded maps, etc.
However the AUX functionality is still greyed out.
I have the AUX in below the arm rest though.
Someone told me to check for the presence of the AUX module in the trunk, below the carpet sort of looking lid, one part of this carpety lid pulls up to reveal the car battery but the other part opens to reveal two shallow aluminum looking compartments which are both empty.
What are my options here to enable the much needed AUX functionality?
Cheers
No one?
I am so surprised its so hard to get any info on this. I asked locally, I browsed the entire internet seemingly, but, no.
I have e82 so i assume its similar. The Aux module is usually integrated into the either the TCU, MULF2, or Combox. The plug is below the armrest and the wires feedback to the trunk to one of the aforementioned modules which then send the signal up to the radio. If you have CIC i would expect you have one of those modules.
I hope that helps
