new tires for 21" staggered wheel setup

After needing to replace two sets of summer performance runflats in 24k miles, looking for all seasons but choices very limited for my X3 x30i. Have the 21" 701m staggered wheels on vehicle now....8.5 width on front, 9.5 width on back. Cannot find 21" all seasons available in current 245/40 front, 275/35 rear set up. Don't want to spend additional $ on 20 or 19" wheels. Any reason why I can't run the same size 255/40 tires on all fours even though the rear wheels are 1" wider than the fronts? Appreciate the help.
