Hey looking for a set of rear shocks for my E39 525iT. I know I can fit shocks that say "not for self leveling suspension" but I just simply cant find the only two rear shocks for the touring I've been looking for. Either B8 Rear shocks, or Koni yellow rear shocks (8240-1157 which are discontinued). Can find B6 rear shocks but would prefer to run B8's, am planning on lowering the back with INPA. If anyone has any suggestions on where to find them that would be great! Or other suggestions on shocks!
Snotty...This one calls for your input.

I gave up. Bilstein has so many damn versions, I already have the B8’s, but with sport springs in the rear on my 525 wagon. I couldn’t find the ones for cars with air ride, after so many pages, I called it quits. Op’s gotta look, or call Bilstein.

I will always own a BMW.
The Koni 8240-1157 yellows that fit the rears were discontinued as you noted. If you don’t like the Bilsteins than stick to the OE Sachs 556473 (33521094052) for SLS. The rears are the same for 525it or 540it. Or go with B6 Billy Sports 24-060967 and accept a harsher ride on rough city streets. I have the Billy’s on stock sport suspension with SLS and don’t mind them, but they’re certainly not plush.

Had a set of Koni shocks on my 528it.
Loved them.... but sold the wagon
You can find the right Konis for the rear on eBay Germany.
Try these guys.

There are Konis with the correct part number in stock in Bulgaria if your willing to try your luck.
