    M5 exhaust

    Looking for information.
Can you put a Dinan M5 exhaust system on an M62 E39 with some modifications?
    How involved is it?
    TIA!

Okay so Dinan must not have an exhaust for an e39.

What are my options for performance dual exhaust for an 01 E39 M62?

Also want to know about chips for this M62.
Disclaimer: I don’t know much about these newer cars I’m an old muscle car guy.
Hi rise intakes, Holley 650 carburetors, open headers, etc.

I want to know how much it’s going to cost to get about 100 more horsepower out of this M 62 with a chip, perhaps a throttlebody or intake or both, exhaust, etc. I need a starting point and some guidance on names like dinan, and whatever else there is out there that produces high-performance chips, (headers or exhaust) complete or partial, etc.
What does $5k get you for instance? Best bang for the buck. If you said to me you know for 5K you could do this but for 1500 more bucks, you could do this, and that would be bad ass.
Again just putting some feelers out because I don’t know where to start because I’ve never done this before. I’m looking for those experience pros that have done it and I have found out this is the best bang for the buck for around $5000-$7500 or something like that. Thanks all in advance! 2001 e39 M62 automatic with sports pkg.
    Completely stock no mods.

If you don’t have a turbo or supercharger, chipping your car won’t do much. I would go so far to say it’s a complete waste of money.
