Engine degreaser safe for polished aluminum?

Anybody know of one? Seems like even the relatively mild ones like Simple Green have acidic agents that etch into aluminum.

Simple green makes an aluminum safe product. Somewhat hard to find but not impossible. I've never tried it.

What is your application?

A simple degreasing and cleaning of my E28's engine bay. My M30 has a polished aluminum valve cover.
