    Strange type of halos

Hello guys! I have some questions about my headlights. I recently bought a face-lift e39 530d touring with factory xenons, but with the halo lights not fully working.. The guy said that are just the bulbs that need replacement so I thought they are easy to do... Not so, because when I looked for the angel eye bulb I didn't find nothing, I searched the internet and still nothing... I have some kind of halos with 3 little bulbs inside for each ring. Could you guys tell me what's up with this kind of headlights and if I can do something about it other than buy new ones.

Let them be, they are aftermarket Depo headlights.
Take them out, open them to get to all the bulbs inside, i think they are 5 or 6 on each halo. Use only 2 side led bulbs.

Radiator is held on with zipties, and all you’re worried about are the halos….. Take care of the important things first.

I know, I took the car 3 days ago and I don't like to drive it with one side working and the other not, it looks really bad.. I'm not a fan of zip ties... Previous owner obviously is.. But it's gonna be fixed to these days

Damn... didn't see the "thing", but I'm not worried about them... that's "Made in Romania" stuff, that's better than factory. I had my TDS at a shop over there for front main seal and clutch change and they didn't see/know that the radiator had vacuum actuated curtains and pulled on the shroud without disconnecting the actuator's rod and broke the support on the shroud . You should have seen the monstrosity they did to reattach it. Their reply was" it works"

Once you buy one you get the fun chore of undoing, fixing, and baselining e39 "fixes" by previous owners. Each bad fix or short cut gets everyone the opportunity to laugh together. It is never the current owner's fault.

Thicker skin, all you need is thicker skin, weak feelings? Take up knitting, but then again, those round plump women on those forums would probably make you cry too…
