I have an 04 M3. In looking at CSL front bumper cover, there are no provisions for "driving lamps" or brake air ducts. There IS a single round hole on the left side directly below the headlights.
1) Is this a direct fit to a non-CSL M3?
2) What is the hole for? (I am assuming air flow for the outside air temp sensor)
On #1 I'm not sure, maybe email folks selling the bumper (or better yet, ask on nam3forum.com). There is the whole pre facelift aluminum carrier vs post facelift kevlar carrier switch, I dont know if different design for CSL rep can fit both...
On #2, yes it's for the intake snorkel. Non CSL gets it's air via a slightly different snorkel from the brake duct, CSL brings it out all the way to the front of the bumper.

Pretty sure you need to change to the aluminum bumper reinforcement.
