M30 Cam Spraybar Banjo Bolts No Longer Available

As many may know, I have been drilling banjo bolts for safety wire for quite awhile. All of my suppliers now show them "backordered" or "NLA". There are some new ones still out there on ebay but at elevated prices. I will still provide drilling for customers' bolts if sent to me, but I no longer stock new bolts. New seal washers are still readily available. For all new orders, I now supply .032" safety wire instead of the former .041" safety wire.

    They are M8 x 1.0 x 17mm lg

These look like they would be a suitible substitute, price is right:

What to look for is the size and spacing of the holes. The center hole on the BMW bolt is .166" and the 3 side holes are .120" distance of the side holes from the underside of the bolt head is also important. The BMW bolt measures .110" from the underside of the head to the near edge of the side hole. Also check that the threads don't bottom out. The BMW bolts have .313" of solid shank from the underside of the head to the threads.
