Hi,
I've been struggling with this for a while and can't seem to make any sense of it. I looked up my VIN in RealOEM and found the part # for the high pressure PS line. This is what's listed for #13:
13 Pressure hose assy 1 32411141719 $210.92
I ordered this and it's arriving today, but I happened to take a look at the part # and double checked online. Long story short, I came to find out that if I pick the sedan version of my car with the same prod. month, I get this:
13 Pressure hose assy 1 32411141716 $210.92 +core For vehicles with
Self-levelling suspension=Yes 13 Pressure hose assy 1 32411141719 $210.92
The 719 ending is clearly for SLS on sedans, yet for my value edition touring it shows 719. I have no SLS and originally had a tan vinyl interior with basic digital clock and temp for OBC. I'm pretty sure this is the standard complete base spec for USA, and I highly doubt there's any possible way my car had SLS.
At this point, I can't figure out if I should return 719 and get 716, or if there's even a notable difference between the 2 hoses. Any idea what's going on?
Thanks!
The difference is that in the tandem-vane PS pump, the steerbox output comes from the rear vane, not the front. You appear to have found a RealOEM error.
