Post E32: Free handbook, cup holder and other stuff

I was tidying up my storage locker last week and I found some bits from my '88 735i, which I sadly let go several years back (I replaced it with a 2006 Z4... now at 161,000kms )

I have an original owners handbook in its grey leather binder (mint condition, like new, including the business card of the salesman who sold the car to it's first owner), an OEM cupholder, an unused air filter and a set of unused brake pads. I don't want to throw these bits in the trash so if someone wants/needs them, I'd be happy to pass them on for the cost of the shipping to you. I'm located in Vancouver British Columbia.

What a score! Did you ever receive Cactuar?
I'm curious what the OEM cupholders look like.

I shipped the parts to Cactaur last week. Here's a pic of the cupholder.

...and I received the parts today! Thank you so much, boulder!

I've been looking for one of these cup holders since I bought my E32 in 2018. They are nowhere to be found online and BMW stopped selling them many years ago.

I do 3D modeling for work so my plan for the cup holder is to recreate it in 3D and make it available for others so they can print it using a 3D printer. I don't have a 3D printer and it would be a burden to sell the parts and arrange shipping etc. I'd rather make the file available for the community.

I will make a new thread about the cup holder project in the future...

    Thanks again boulder!
