    S52 race part out (Schrick cams, vanos, oil pan, etc)

    I dropped a valve on my track focused S52 and have decided to just go the S54 route instead of rebuilding an S52. Have a lot in this motor over the past 8 years, my loss is your gain!

    Original motor had 133k, a lot of the go-fast parts have <10k miles on them and I should even have original receipts. Located in Columbus, OH area, will work to get this updated with pics and additional detail. Feel free to ask about any other parts.

    • VANOS, just resealed with the Beisan kit and VAC limit spacer for big cams. Can remove the spacer if wanting to use with OEM cams: SOLD
    • OEM Oil Pan with VAC baffle tig welded in, drain plug threads are good: SOLD
    • OEM Oil pump pickup with arm gusset reinforcements: sold
    • OEM Oil pump with safety wire nut: sold
    • Schrick VAC 276/270 cams (these have <1000 miles on them) with splined VANOS shaft: SOLD
    • OEM S52 cam trays and caps: $550
    • OEM S52 MAF: sold
    • Bosch 993 MAF from Bimmerworld (<1000 miles): sold
    • Bosch 24lb injectors (new, not rebuilt) from BW (<1000 miles): SOLD
    • OEM 21lb injectors (recently cleaned and flowtested): sold
    • M50 manifold: sold
    • M50 manifold silicone install/adapter Bimmerworld kit: sold
    • S52 Supertech springs (<1000 miles): SOLD
    • Hydraulic lifters from Achillies (8 new in packaging, 24 with <1000 miles): SOLD
    • Cometic head gasket 0.080" (<1000 miles): $125
    • ARP head stud kit (<1000 miles): sold
    • S52 headers + SAP block off plate + o2 sensors + install hardware (<1000 miles): sold
    • Bimmerworld E36 long tube header y-pipe: SOLD
    • OEM oil filter housing: $50
    • OEM plastic valve cover + studs (rubber gaskets have <1000 miles): sold
    • Bremi ignition coils (<20k miles): sold
    • S52 timing chain tensioner: sold
    • DME with 3 tune files: (1) stock, (2) EWS delete, SAP delete, rear O2 delete, M50 mani, CAI, 3" exhaust, (3) same as 2 but also 276/270 cams, 993MAF, 24lb injectors: $900 (need to talk to Randy and confirm support for this)
    • S52B32 spare block in good condition, needs re-honed/painted, unknown mileage: $500
    • Misc OEM pistons, conn rods, water pump, alternator, cam gears, etc

    I have some used arrow S52 rods and CP pistons to help out if someone is looking for a whole rebuild kit. Also I'm down in Louisville, Ky and done a few of the swaps if you need a hand.

    Oh awesome! Someone could def build a killer engine on a budget with piecing it all together.

    Bump. I have an S54! Actually an entire wrecked E46 M3 with 6MT I'm selling off as well. MOTIVATED TO GET S52 PARTS OUT OF MY GARAGE!!!

    Keeping the S54... that's the whole point of this thread. I do have a 6MT box and RTD shifter that is for sale though.

    Can't PM you as you just joined, but I put pictures in the Drive folder linked in the 1st post here. Pistons come with used rings, I don't have a full set and not sure what you're trying to (re)build but my advice would be to size your cylinders and buy a fresh set of 6 off of that. If you're able to PM me, send me your cell and we can chat.
