    Ascot Green Rarity

So I’ve just picked myself up this beautiful ascot green 98 328i and as far as I know the paint is Uber rare, I was wondering if anyone has any insight as to how rare? How many ascot green e36’s have you seen?

I used to own a 1998 323is in Ascot - its still on the road too! Its an awesome color. I don't know anything about production numbers, but I believe you could get it on the E38 7-series as well.

I saw recently an E30 convertible that had a shade or so lighter a green metallic when compared with my E36 painted Boston Green. Recently on Craigslist was a pastel lime green E36 said to be one of only 3 in this factory paint! Seems your car may have been custom ordered, I wonder what other than standard options your car may also have?

I had a car where the pinstripe felt very dated, people in the car community suggested very fine sandpaper (was bad advice). Anyway to my amazement denatured alcohol on a rag and it wiped right off!
