Been looking at Craigslist for E34 and there seems to be less and less listings, and those listed are asking quite a bit compared to past pricing.
But in general, I don’t see that much supply. There were a lot of parts cars a while back, but even those have dwindle down a bit.
BaT (Bring A Trailer) seems to have created a higher price market for E34 BMWs.
What have you been seeing in your local markets?

Craigslist has been kinda dead lately, mostly because they started charging $5 to post a car for sale and people selling cheap cars don’t want to pay that fee. I use Facebook Marketplace and Offerup a lot more nowadays.

Thanks, the Craigslist traffic for E34 listings have definitely moved to Facebook Market Place.
this is why I just put around $4k into this one even with 441,000 miles on the engine
may begin looking into some body/paint rehab and a younger engine.
Shogun, I am starting to think the same way, and willing to spend what’s needed to keep my E34 running. Your 441K miles is very inspirational, at my 205K miles I didn’t have much of a real world target, now your are the benchmark. I am still amazed by the achieved mileage!

Pretty much the case for any 30 year old car, its called attrition. Here in the rustbelt even the parts car supply has dried up.
I used to see loads of E34s as recent as a decade ago, now I know of only one confirmed in daily service(my old 535 now in the hands of a friend) and one other I see on occasion. E39s seem to be going away around here as well.
