    Questions about buying an X7?

I'm shopping for a new SUV. Choices are BMW X7, Acura MDX, and Lexus LX600. Looked at X7 and Really liked it, MDX is ok but not speaking to me. My question is how reliable is an X7 from a reliability stand point vs an Acura? I really like the BMW but usually keep a car 7-8 years and drive it 150,000 + miles.

Don't those X7's already have a recall regarding sensitive modules placed underneath the cupholders?

If you are asking about long term reliability, don’t all the studies put Lexus above BMW?

I checked Consumer Reports. They rate it Recommended, with an overall score of 81 (out of 100). The Toyota Land Cruiser got a score of 74, and other similar competition was lower than that (Lincoln Navigator 63, Buick Enclave 62, Cadillac Escalade 58, Infiniti QX80 58, Mercedes Benz GLS 48). The Lexus LX was not tested.

Predicted owner satisfaction ratings are high, too (79% would buy again). But it’s only been around since model year 2019, so there isn’t any real long term information yet. Predicted reliability score is 45, same as a Navigator. All the other mentioned competition were lower than that.

Hello everyone. BMW X7 fired up to buy after the release of the flagship of the German brand. I'm generally a fan of the German car industry. And now for two weeks I have been a happy owner of a luxury crossover. The family is also delighted. Brutal-elegant, everyone liked him, and his wife, and children, and even mother-in-law. The seats are upholstered in perforated Vernasca leather, the instrument panel is upholstered. 4-zone climate control - convenient for everyone. Heated seats and steering wheel are no surprise, but the X7 also offers warm armrests. It will be interesting to try this option in the winter. Behind the wheel of a buzz, full understanding with the engine (diesel 3.0). The box kicks a little, but I think everything will change after running. BMW goes smoothly, bumps just dissolve. It holds the road clearly, goes along the highway unshakably like a tank, literally pushing the traffic stream with its chest. Acoustic comfort in the cabin is at the highest level, special glazing really protects against noise. In general, the BMW acts so stupefyingly with comfort, smooth power and silence that you relax behind the wheel. There are a lot of intelligent systems, BMW is a book that you can slowly study, adapting to yourself. By the way, this car has its own symbol, https://www.sunsigns.org/celtic-symbols-of-cernunnos/ has interesting information about all the meanings of the symbols.
