HDC/Park aid/parking camera buttons problem

I'm having an issue on my 2012 750xi where the three buttons for hdc, rear park aid, and parking camera don't respond to button pushes but will randomly activate anytime the car is started. Parked or moving, it doesn't matter.

I took the button assembly out of the center console and checked the traces, buttons on the circuit board, and the pins for the wiring connector. But everything seems okay. No burnt spots on the circuit board, continuity checked out okay, and there's no corrosion I can see.

Thinking either wiring or module, but wondering if there's a common known problem that could cause this. I should also note there are no faults related to this present in the car.
