Hello!
I'm at the final steps of a 2002 Euro e39 540i manual conversion and I'm facing trouble with the DME reflashing using Winkfp.
The stock ZB is 7533594 and AFAIK the correspondig ZB should be 7539238 but after flashing this ZB the car does not crank. I flashed back the 7533594 and the car started fine. Is there something am I missing? Is the new ZB correct?
Thank you
Does your car have the comfort start (one turn of key will normally keep it cranking until start)? You will need to check out the wiring for a clutch switch to DME if it's potentially the issue of no clutch signal.

Also, 7533594 is the USA flash. For Euro you can use the 7533592
Unsure if this will change anything with clutch requirements for comfort start.

Hey!
I'm trying to code ZCS with NCS Expert and I'm getting an error COAPI-1000 Fehler.
Are these GM and SA correct?
ZCS stock auto
GM 5B810003J
SA 20291C9188F166A5N
VN 1110001C83G
ZCS new manual converted
GM 5B710003J
SA 20281C9188F166A5N
VN 1110001C83G
5B81 is safety vehicle in automatic.
I don't think there even is a 5B71. There was no manual safety vehicle.
You will have to use 5B51.
Also, remove the old checksums and let NCS Expert calculate new ones.
