convertible hardtop stopped working midway through cycle.....basically half open/closed....checked fuses and both are good.....any ideas?? when i try to open/close top nothing is happening.....not even a sound from the motor. i don't know if there is a relay to check as i have not found any......need help

Have you tried to "gently" push the top in the direction you are tying to go? Sometimes these things get stuck and need just a touch of pressure to get free, I would attempt to close first.
Also have a look in the trunk, for while it shouldn't happen, there maybe something blocking the path.
