    X1 new battery, registered w/ Carly still won't start.

    I followed all the instructions about adding a new battery and registering it to car using Carly but when I place my foot on the brake to start the brake is hard and the push to start just toggles to on and off. Not sure what to do.

    Without a car now.

    I should add that the registration using Carly was successful and all car systems work now. Except that the push button start isn't working.

    Ideas?
