    eBay axelback question

So a while back I ordered an eBay axleback exhaust for the e36 and realized it didn’t come with any gaskets, I reached out to the seller and asked if the exhaust was supposed to use gaskets and they said no…. Just wanted to make sure this alright before I have to do double the work. Thanks

You can reuse the donut gaskets.

Are you talking about the asbestos ring -- aka Muffler Bearing? You can buy these at the auto parts store, there is no rocket science to them. Take them with you so you get the right size. For my '94 'vert, they are 48 mm. It looks like there might be two different ones.

Fingers crossed that the ebay exhaust fits properly for you. Yes they should use gaskets at the pipe connections.
