In my 540i/6 E34 I have an M5 E34 cluster with the original M5 code chip plugged in. However, the oil temperature gauge in the cluster is obviously not working. So, is there an easy way to make that gauge work? Also, could I install another sensor showing the oil pressure? The ideal for me would be if I could plug into the hole near the oil filter one sensor capable of reading both temperature and pressure. Is this doable? has anyone done anything similar? If so, then please suggest what parts I need.
