Hi, I have an old instrument cluster laying around that is pre-90: https://frankfurt.apollo.olxcdn.com/...age;s=1000x700
and my cluster is this one: https://bparts-eu.s3-eu-west-1.amazo...000239148.jpeg
My LCD display for the mileage has burnt pixels and the display needs to be changed as well. Figured this is too much hassle and since I have this old cluster around, I might as well use it. When I browsed threads around here, I was not able to find anyone fitting this older cluster into a newer one. All the differences between the versions are explained, but noone mentions these analog clusters. Is it possible? Will I be able to get my mileage counter working when mine is visualised on a screen and not manually? How does it work even? Both clusters are from a 520i.
I hope someone can shed some light into this matter, cheers.

Yes, I was overwhelmed with the US-only answers. Hope this thread helps someone looking! Thanks.
try to repair the original one, conversion to Hi version cluster is pretty complicated as you can see. Or get another used one of same type
