I contacted the vendor in advance to see if the E34 front bumper cover was available at the price posted on the Turner website. Sure, they said. What they didn't say was that they were going to hit me for an extra $200 above and beyond the posted price! I assume it was for shipping -- the invoice I got didn't specify what the surcharge was for. It just mysteriously appeared at the bottom line.

I understand that oversize items are exempt from the company's "free shipping" policy. But $200? I wanted to find out exactly what I was getting charged for.

So I called the company and was placed on endless hold. Tried online chat, got a "be with you in a minute!" response. When the minute turned into an hour, I gave up.

All I wanted to know is what I was paying for. If this is the best the vendor can do, there are other options available.
