WTB and Looking for seat recommendations

I have a 95 E36 M3 with stock seats that I plan to track only once or twice a year. Which type of seats do you recommend for comfort during street drive and relatively tight for track?

I don't have any available, but I recommend Recaro Pole Position ABE's. I have a pair in my 97 M3 and they are the most comfortable seat I have ever sat in (this includes any "luxury" comfort seats) and the bolstering and support are perfect. If you want to take the car on a long drive, these will not give your back any issues (I herniated my L5 - S1 disk a while ago and usually my back fatigues very quickly, no problems AT ALL with these seats). Cannot recommend enough, I would personally not consider any other seat for the use you described.

As with any bucket seats for this car you will need floor mount brackets.

it is an amazing seat.......yes...but depends on your sz and wt as well..but u may want a 2-pc seat...not a fixed race bucket..1 or 2x per yr does not demand a race seat

Any specific 2 piece seats you recommend? I have a track only car. This is for my street car, which I will track if I can’t trailer the other one to non local tracks.

Maybe try one event with your stock seats to see if they'll work or not?

Are you planning on swapping out the seat(s) before the event and swap back to oem after, or will it replace the oem for daily commute and the occasional track event?

I tracked this car quite a bit two years ago and slid left and right quite a bit in a stock seat, even with a 4 point harness. Good question. I don’t want to swap seats in and out.

My vote then would be for the Recaro PP ABE. I can put you in contact with a reputable reseller who also offers it with different options (stitching color, material, etc) straight from the factory.

I have a set of Recaro SR3/SRD's that served great dual duty in my car. Switch to fixed back when it became a track only toy. Located in 11214 Brooklyn NY

I’m changing my mind and focusing on street driving only for this car. What would be the best used or new seats that won’t cost more than $1,500 for both front seats. Again this is for 1995 E36 M3 Coupe.
Any thoughts?
Also is there a physical store in Texas (I’m in San Antonio) that I can try sitting in them?
