    2017 X3 Sloppy handling

    Hi all,

I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue that I'm having with my wife's X3 and would like some input from this forum. This vehicle has 45,000 miles, most of it in town driving.

I've always hated the way this vehicle has handled unless driving in Sport mode; it's always felt loose and seemed to flop side to side under even modest driving. This has progressively become more noticible, so much so that Sport mode seems to be the only way to operate the vehicle safely, without getting a lot of roll.

Earlier this year, when the issue was more about personal preference than safety, my plan was to replaced the OE springs with stiffer, shorter springs from H&R. Now that safety is the real issue, I'm trying to determine if the shocks are failing, or if there's another issue to look at. Are there suspension components that this car is known to wear through more quickly than is typical?

    Thanks in advance

Maybe late to reply, but do you have DHP?
