Can’t get socket on sunk Subframe bolt

I have a E38. The sunk subframe bolt on the passenger side is too close to the wall. I even was lucky enough to have a thin wall 18mm and I can’t get the socket to cover the bolt. Everything else has been removed. Subframe weight is being carried on a trans jack. The steering gear box has been disconnected and it’s weight and the engine weight is being held by a engine beam. Yet I can not move the subframe side to side to see if I can’t wiggle some room into that hole to get that bolt.

Thanks in advance. Your insight is very much appreciated.

can a mod move this to the e38 forum - Are you asking for front or rear subframe?
